“If opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door”
– Milton Berle
Over the past several decades, Milwaukee has enjoyed its isolation from the rest of Kindred society. The threatening presence of Lupines have made even Archons think twice about travelling to the city. However, since the Nights of Turmoil, the werewolf presence has notably decreased.
Meanwhile, Chicago has long dominated the region, both in the mortal world and the world of Kindred. Milwaukee has escaped from this political domination due to the presence of Lupines on the outskirts of the city. However, with the werewolf threat waning, Kindred from Chicago have started to visit Milwaukee on a more regular basis. The denizens of
Milwaukee view these visitors with skepticism. Some newcomers may bring useful resources or skills, while others may be agents of long-term adversaries.
The Nosferatu Primogen has organized a release party for their childe, “Black Willow”. No doubt this event will become a backdrop for power plays between the Kindred of Milwaukee and Chicago. Rumor has it that some of the survivors from New York – a domain recently fallen to the Sabbat – may crash this celebration in an attempt to find succor.
Kindred are not the only ones watching the power plays between Milwaukee and Chicago. Other eyes have noticed the decline in the Lupine presence and its impact on the supernatural landscape.
